#1.) Winning the WWE Championship
The biggest night of Rob Van Dam’s career came in the classic Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. It was ECW One Night Stand 2006 and RVD chose the route of cashing in his MITB contract in advance for a full-fledged match. The atmosphere wasn’t exactly favorable towards Cena (in fact, the entire audience sounded like they wanted to destroy him themselves).
They would have a really good match and Edge would interfere, spearing John Cena and allowing RVD to pin him and win the title. It was a transitional reign for RVD, but even so, he got to say that he has a WWE World title in his resumé
