#3.) Velveteen Dream
It’s safe to say that Patrick Clark/Velveteen Dream is the best male homegrown talent in WWE. Being born in just 1995, Patrick Clark showed a love for the business that none of his fellow-Tough Enough competitors possessed. He was rightfully offered a contract, and in no time, started making waves on television.
He’s found a character with a lot of potential and while fans may argue that his flamboyant character may put him on a midcard level like Goldust, Dream has shown that he has far more potential. For starters, he transitioned well into a babyface role and has had some fantastic matches with the cream of the crop in NXT.
In fact, even John Cena seems to recognize his potential, going as far as to call him “The One”. While fans may seem his flamboyant character as a downside in the future, there’s actually a bigger upside to it, because he’s shown that there can be various dimensions to his character, and it’s likely that he hasn’t even scratched the surface on it.
