#5.) He’s a big rap head
What many people don’t know is that during his time as KENTA, Hideo Itami would mostly come out to rap music. He famously used DMX’s “Where the hood at?” as his theme song, with it even changing to T.I’s “What you know”. He had even used “Art and Life” by Twista. Rap music seems to have played an important role for Itami, and the music would suit his persona – a natural born killer.
The music also gave a certain presence to him. This was the first thing WWE did wrong. CFO$ gave him a generic rock song that really didn’t fit his persona as well. You could bring up a debate with regards to this as to whether superstars should be able to choose theme songs outside of CFO$, similar to what Ronda Rousey did.
