#2.) Hideo Itami – 205 Live 2018
Hideo Itami hasn’t had a very successful run in WWE, to say the least. He’s been plagued by injuries and that affected his push and momentum severely. However, his peak in 205 Live so far has been his match with Mustafa Ali, where he displayed the ruthlessness that he’s known for.
He showed the KENTA of old and took it to a new level with Mustafa Ali, as he brutalized him throughout their match. Ali is an excellent seller and sold the offence like death. They told a fantastic story together and it got so brutal that the commentators seemed legitimately concerned for Ali. That’s how you tell a great story and Itami won the match after hitting a series of dropkicks to the head of Ali, who was hanging upside down helplessly.
It helped Itami get over more as a heel and furthered Ali as a babyface with his never-say-die attitude.
