We all know AJ Styles is one of the best in the world, but did you know that he was so good that he saved Kenny Omega’s career? Omega found himself in a slump after his WWE release and considered quitting wrestling. He already had another job waiting for him and he also tried his hand in MMA and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Things weren’t going his way until he got booked in an indie show where AJ Styles was his opponent.
He figured that if the match didn’t go his way, he would retire. He was mindblown by AJ Styles’ greatness in the ring and what he was capable of. It re-ignited his passion and he would go on to work with more excellent talent, eventually leading him up to where he is today.
