Ember Moon defended her NXT Women’s title against Shayna Baszler at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia at Royal Rumble 2018 weekend and in an incredible match, retained her title. It was one of those cases where the opponent looked great even in defeat. They managed to one-up their match at WrestleMania 34 weekend, as Baszler once again attempted to capture the Women’s title.
The story they told was a great one, as Baszler’s relentlessness and ruthlessness got the better of Ember Moon. While Moon showed a lot of heart and guts, Baszler turned out to be far too relentless, making Moon pass out via a rear naked choke and winning the NXT Women’s title.
