Ladies and gentlemen – wins and losses do matter in pro wrestling. No matter how much someone tells you it doesn’t, a win streak helps a character far more as it legitimizes them in the eyes of fans. We’ve seen it time and again before, all it takes is just a slow and steady push. No mention needs to be made of a streak. Just have Gable appear week in and week out and win his matches.
Once he starts to pick up wins, fans would definitely take notice and begin cheering him more. This could even lead up to a midcard title feud and an eventual midcard title win before taking the next step up.
