#3.) vs AJ Styles – TNA No Surrender 2013

There’s a famous saying that AJ Styles can have a good match with a broomstick. It holds true, but Nick Magnus was no broomstick. He was Styles’ final obstacle in the 2013 Bound For Glory Series to determine a new #1 contender for the TNA World title. As TNA put it: 12 Men. One Shot at Glory.

The tournament in 2013 was star-studded and the finals saw Styles take on Nick Magnus. Going on for a quarter of an hour, Styles and Magnus had an explosive matchup, with a bout that had a big fight feel to it. There were pointless interferences but at the end of it, they had a great match and it was proving ground for Magnus, who many believed would be a future world champion after this bout. In a way, Styles significantly helped Magnus.
