#4.) vs Eric Young – TNA Sacrifice 2014
The main event of Sacrifice 2014 saw Eric Young defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Nick Aldis. The PPV as a whole was victim to unfortunate circumstances of having a relatively dead crowd. It was quite a shame because the PPV had a tables match, an I Quit match and even a solid X-Division bout.
The main event too, was by and far the best match of the show, but the crowd didn’t show the appreciation that it deserved. Regardless, the main event was an absolute no-nonsense contest, with Eric Young having the fight of his life against Aldis. Though Aldis tried to talk trash and get inside Young’s head, Young would prevail after a series of false finishes, finally ending him with a piledriver and elbow drop to retain the title.
