#3.) Separating from Enzo and Cass
When we mentioned that her separation from Enzo & Cass was a blessing in disguise, we really mean it. While Carmella was understandably disappointed at not being called up with them, Triple H seemed to know that it was the best for her. He chose to keep her in NXT because he felt she had a lot more to offer as a singles star.
She was subsequently called up to the main roster to SmackDown Live, while Enzo & Cass were on RAW. Backstage behavior is the rumored reason why Enzo & Cass were not very well liked backstage. As we know, between late 2017 and mid-2018, both Enzo and Cass were released from the company.
Carmella remains a featured superstar on the main roster with a long way to go.
