5-star match. That’s the best way to put it. After nearly a year of build and anticipation, Johnny Gargano finally had the chance to confront the demons of his past, aka, Tommaso Ciampa. They had an unsanctioned match and the crowd’s reaction was unforgettable. They unanimously cheered Gargano and unanimously booed Ciampa. It was a testament to the excellent story told and they ate it all up when Gargano and Ciampa put on one of the best matches that you’ll ever see.
Brutality and emotion made this one of the best bouts ever and the moment Gargano tapped Ciampa out, the crowd erupted. This match was nothing short of pro wrestling magic and it was a career-defining performance for the two.
