#3.) vs Johnny Gargano – NXT Takeover: Brooklyn IV
The fourth edition of NXT Takeover: Brooklyn also had the best main event in the series. Gargano and Ciampa were originally scheduled to be involved in a Triple Threat match also involving Aleister Black for the NXT Championship. However, a legit injury saw Aleister Black pulled from the card and Gargano and Ciampa would complete their trilogy in a Last Man Standing match, this time for the biggest prize in the brand.
As always, the two stole the show in an absolutely jaw-dropping performance. In a moment that no one saw coming, Gargano let his inner demons get the best of him and he attacked Ciampa while he was handcuffed. By sheer luck, Ciampa stood up on the platform below him while Gargano succumbed to the ten-count. It was the end of an outstanding trilogy.
