Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas had come a long way since his WWE debut. He challenged Drew McIntyre for his recently won NXT Championship and in the contest, Zelina Vega proved to be a huge difference maker. She got involved numerous times throughout the match, allowing Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas to take advantage despite having a size disadvantage.
In a fantastic match, Almas’ NXT run would come to fruition by winning the NXT Championship. McIntyre would suffer a legitimate injury during the match that would keep him out of action for months, abruptly ending his NXT run as well. He would debut on RAW months later.
