The Revival were scheduled to take on The B-Team a few weeks after SummerSlam for the RAW Tag Team Championship. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler took The Revival out before their match, putting them out of commission. They stole their opportunity and ended up winning the tag titles in the process.
The Revival would get their shot weeks later against McIntyre and Ziggler. In an outstandingly paced match, the two teams put it all on the line and stole the show. The match contained excellent psychology between the teams, leaving the crowd on their feet the whole time. The Revival came seconds within winning the title, but McIntyre’s dominance proved too much as he and Ziggler retained the tag titles.
