#4.) Royal Rumble 2014
A year prior to his first Royal Rumble victory, Roman Reigns was still a fan-favourite as part of the wildly popular Shield. Batista made a huge return and announced his entry to the Royal Rumble match. This struck fear in many fans that it would be Batista and not Daniel Bryan who would be winning the Rumble.
Fans saw this as a grave injustice to Bryan and after expecting him at #30, it was poor Rey Mysterio who entered to a chorus of boos. The fans’ worst fear was about to come true as Batista would win the Rumble. However, in the final moments, Reigns and Batista were the two men left. Due to their sudden disdain for The Animal, the crowd went wild cheering for Roman Reigns.
Though it would foreshadow the next year where Reigns got booed, it was still a very cool moment, with Reigns himself stating that it was one of the coolest moments of his career.
