WWE star Becky Lynch has made it back to the title picture after just watching from the sidelines for two years.
The first WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion had an interview with The New York Post where she talked about her upcoming match with Carmella and Charlotte at SummerSlam. Check out some highlights from the interview:
On not being in the title picture:
“It was incredibly frustrating. Almost there, almost there, almost there and never really fully settling into it. Yeah, I’ve been the champion before, but it was a hiccup and then it’s been nearly two years getting back to it and not even having a title match in a year and a half. This is huge for me. It really has been my whole journey.”

On her upcoming match involving her best friend, Charlotte Flair:
“You want to fight for what you want, but sometimes you got to look over your shoulder because people are trying to take you down. So I think it’s perfect for everything that Becky has ever gone through that then of course Charlotte, her best friend, with who she has this moral dilemma of wanting to be champion almost on the cusp of having everything that she ever wanted, but then knowing there could end up being bad blood with her best friend.”
