WWE recently updated the logo for the upcoming Mae Young Classic tournament; the new logo can be seen above.

WWE updated all previous iterations of the former logo on WWE.com to reflect the new branding. The Mae Young Classic will be taped next week at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, and will air this fall on WWE Network.

NFL star and Slammiversary standout DeAngelo Williams recently spoke with Adam Schefter for ESPN (h/t to Pro Wrestling Sheetand told him his debut wrestling match was also his last.

Williams spoke with Schefter and said he worked a match at Global Force Wrestling’s Slammiversary XV in honor of his late uncle, and GFW wanted him to do more for the company in the future, but he is officially retiring from wrestling. Williams said he took his match seriously because of his respect for wrestling, and said he didn’t want to go through the motions like past celebrity matches.
