Renee Young is joined by John Bradshaw Layfield. They talk briefly about Layfield’s experience in a Money in the Bank match before welcoming Shinsuke Nakamura to the show.
First Guest: Shinsuke Nakamura
Nakamura tells the hosts that climbing to the top of the ladder on Smackdown was his first time going on top of the ladder. He says he did not feel the effects of the ladder during the match put after the match he could feel the pain.
He believes that the Money in the Bank match will be good for him because he came to WWE to find something new. He is aware that the match is a challenge for him. While talking about his opponents, Nakamura says he loves to wrestle AJ Styles. He loves his style of wrestling.
After Nakamura leaves the hosts talk about the Women’s Money in the Bank match. JBL believes Natalya is the one to look out for. He adds to never trust a Hart.
Second Guest: The Hype Bros
Zack Ryder is happy to be back after a six month injury. They take a look at the moment Ryder injured his knee. Mojo Rawley says he is proud of Ryder because he got the group to win the number one contenders match in his hometown.
JBL asks Rawley if he really wants to go back to a tag team after all of the success he has had on his own. Rawley tells him that he and Ryder talked about it and they believe they became number one contenders for a reason. They have earned the chance to be number one contenders and they should be able to take it.
Third Guest: Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal reminds Young that Randy Orton is past his prime but he is just entering his prime. He also thinks Orton is a coward for sneaking up on him instead of meeting face to face. He knows that Orton’s father will be in the audience at Money in the Bank. He plans on beating Orton in front of his father, in his hometown.
JBL believes Orton is putting pressure on himself by continuing to mention St. Louis as his hometown. However, all of the greats put pressure on themselves.
