PWInsider.com is reporting that despite Billy Corgan’s public announcement that he and the parties involved in the TNA Wrestling lawsuit had come to an agreement, the lawsuit is still continuing in court.
The report noted that the suit is still active in Nashville Chancery Court, and that the court issued an order on November 14th that extended the defendants’ time to answer the lawsuit or make another plea through today, November 22nd.
Additionally, it was noted that the order was at the request of counsel for Corgan and the defendants (TNA) because it would “further the interests of judicial economy and efficiency.” The lawsuit would have either been settled today by both parties, or the defendants will file an official response to the case, such as a motion of dismissal.
