Hulk Hogan was on this morning’s episode of “Good Morning America”, and during the appearance he discussed his recently won civil trial against Gawker.
During the interview, Hogan said the trial was never about the money for him, but it was more about exposing Gawker. Hogan also spoke about his dream to one day get Gawker editor Nick Denton alone in the ring:
“At about the middle of the trial I walk in the men’s room, and it’s me and Nick Denton [Gawker publisher] by ourselves in the restroom, with nobody,” Hogan revealed. “My first thought was: What if he just falls down and holds his neck or something, who are they going to believe? My second thought was: If this was WrestleMania and he was in the ring with me, and it was just me and him, wouldn’t it be fun?”
Hogan was also asked during the interview if he feels he was set up by his friends during the sex tape ordeal, namely by people like Bubba the Love Sponge, and Hogan replied with “yes, yes I do.” You can check out footage of Hogan’s appearance below:
