Backstage News Bully Ray’s One-Time TNA Appearance
As noted, Bully Ray’s appearance on Impact Wrestling last week was a one-time deal, and Ray has not signed a new contract with TNA. Velvet Sky, however, who also made her return to TNA on Impact, will be appearing on a regular basis.
Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com appeared on Live Audio Wrestling last night, and said if Bully Ray does end up returning to TNA full-time, the deal would hinge on TNA being able to offer Ray a solid contract financially. TNA might not be in a position to be able to offer Ray the kind of money he might be looking for right now, and if that’s the case it’s unlikely Ray will sign a new deal. TNA officials brought Ray in for Impact last week because they felt the surprise appearance would help boost rating.
