Live Notes From “WrestleMania Today” WWE Network Special: Sit-Down Interview w/ John Cena, Roman Reigns, The Bella Twins & More

wrestlemaniaWrestleMania Today kicks off with a video package for Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker. From what I saw it looks great, but I’m trying to avoid these pieces because I’m pretty certain they’re what will run prior to the matches at WrestleMania.

Renee Young, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton are your panel today.

-They air footage from John Cena on Jimmy Kimmel. “Every day I go into Walmart and I buy a shotgun, a lawnmower, a scented candle and a 16-pound ham. And on top of all that I’ve spent a large sum of money on useless Chinese fireworks that I light off at will while humming the national anthem.” This might be the best thing Cena has done in years.

-Tyson Kidd and Cesaro join the show to hype the tag team title 4-way during the Kickoff match.

-Byron does a sit-down interview with Roman Reigns, similar to what Booker T did with Randy Orton and Seth Rollins yesterday. These are seriously well-produced and you need to go out of your way to watch them.

-Bella Twins hype package, including footage from the 2006 Raw Divas search. It’s all about AJ Lee being a hypocrite and is absolutely FANTASTIC.

-Kane shows up to talk about the Andre the Giant battle royal. He talks about battle royal strategy, which makes sense – he’s probably been in more of these things than any man in history. They hype Hideo Itami at WrestleMania and Renee mentions he’s headlined the Tokyo Dome.

-John Cena does a sit-down interview talking about being in the pre-show at WrestleMania XIX and his 10 other matches from the first match to the main event.

-Dolph Ziggler joins the show and says he’s excited about there finally being a story for the Intercontinental title, which he says has been on the back burner for years.

-Daniel Bryan sit-down interview. He says he’s a little worried because he hasn’t put his neck in this much danger since taking time off. He says it’s his prediction, and should be everyone’s prediction that he’s going to win and 70,000 people will be chanting “YES” after. Ziggler says he’s jealous because Bryan came in and succeeded, but when he came in people crapped on him for being a cheerleader. Mean Gene randomly shows up and Ziggler marks out getting to be interviewed by him.
