The trial by jury date for the lawsuit brought against Scott Steiner by TNA has been pushed back to June 2015.

TNA is seeking damages from Steiner dating back to 2012 when Steiner made public, discouraging remarks about then-TNA officials Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Bruce Prichard, and TNA stars such as Brooke Hogan. TNA is claiming Steiner breached his contract with the company when he made the remarks, however Steiner is arguing his contract had already expired, and he was not breaching his deal, nor did TNA suffer from the remarks he made.

With regards to Billy Jack Haynes suing WWE, WWE has until 12/30 to answer the suit or to file a motion to dismiss.

Once either of those two things happen, the court in Portland, Oregon will begin moving forward with the case.

As we previously reported, the 30 page lawsuit, which was designed to be similar to the one brought against the NFL by former players, alleges WWE “has, for decades, subjected its wrestlers to extreme physical brutality that it knew, or should have known, caused long-term irreversible bodily damage, including brain damage.”
