The Cashbox: Survivor Series Preview and Predictions

Monday's edition of Raw didn't do a ton to sell me on this Sunday's pay per view event, but I didn't really need much selling. I think most fans were already anticipating the Rock's in-ring return like I was and if they weren't, Monday certainly reminded you of just how good he can still be. Once again, the Rock was brilliant on the mic and the little bit of physicality he did have Monday proved that he can still go in the ring, too.

John Cena did a good job interacting with Rock and stayed true to his character the entire night. Whether he turns heel this Sunday or not, it seems WWE is doing all they can to play up the controversial and mixed reaction he receives from the WWE Universe. Is that foreshadowing something or just coincidence? Who knows, but it adds an interesting element to the story, nonetheless.

Opposite the ring, Raw still did nothing to give Miz and Truth any momentum heading into Sunday. I'm sure WWE felt it was too late for that and I can't disagree at this point. They again looked foolish in comparison to their counterparts and as Miz admitted, they are simply a footnote in this whole situation. An afterthought. And it's unfortunate.

In this week's "Cashbox", let's take a look at the matches confirmed so far for Survivor Series. I will give my thoughts and predictions for each match as well. I'm interested in what you have to say about Sunday's event. Email me at wzchriscash@yahoo.com or drop a line via Twitter @RealityofChris. Then, look out for my Pay-Per-Review this Monday on WrestleZone.com.
