As was reported, Carlito was taken out of the SD Elimination match via the car angle as a way to avoid further injury to his shoulder. However, he is also booked in a match with John Cena on Tuesday, so many believe WWE will run some sort of angle or a quick/light match with the same motive, although that is FAR from confirmed.
According to PWInsider.com, local radio ads have promoted Cena’s appearance as “one time only,” as he is still in the process of shooting The Marine. Since WWE’s radio ads are not failsafe guarantees of WWE plans, such a statement cannot be confirmed or denied at this time.
– As far as off-air notes go, according to correspondent Paul Belfi, the lower part of the arena was basically full, but the upper bowl was mostly tarped off.
– The crowd was rather hot the entire night and especially loved Undertaker, RVD, Cena and Orton.
– Many people in the arena were disappointed with the Lita-Trish match’s length.
– Orton’s win over HHH got a huge pop from the crowd.
