– Many wrestlers backstage are upset that TNA would let Hall and Nash, who only have 5 of 8 contractual dates on their contracts remaining, have so much control and leverage as well as bury TNA’s contracted talent on commentary. Unless Nash and Hall have signed contract extensions with the company they would only have 5 shows left to fulfill.
– Due to the BDSSP being carried in regional Fox Sports Network affiliates across the country, the ratings take a little longer to tally. With that being said, early reports are indicating more than a doubling of the usualy BDSSP ratings. Final numbers indicate a much more modest increase, with ratings of 0.26 and 0.17, which is above the average 0.15 ratings for the show, although it is not enough to cause excitement among FSN executives. This is considered a setback for TNA’s attempt to gain prime time Monday night clearance on FSN.
– Buyrates for the Victory Road PPV remain relatively reassuring. Estimates suggest numbers between 30,000-40,000, which is significantly higher than the 20-25,000 previously suggested.
