Thanks to Lata Jones at PWInsider for the following:
“I was watching ScoreTonight on The Score here in Canada and they had an interview with Bret Hart. Here are some of the highlights:
-(Interesting comment here) Spoke about Ric Flair and said that Flair was a 5/10 wrestler. He said that you could take Flair’s best matches and they wouldn’t be as good as his worst matches. In the industry, Flair is not liked in the locker room, and he wrestled Flair and said Flair had great mechanics but had zero ring psychology, and when he got lost in the ring he would undo a turnbuckle. Bret said he never did that, and the comments Flair has made about him are ridiculous. He said to just watch his matches and you’ll know that Flair was not the greatest wrestler (I’m assuming what he meant here is that Bret is the better wrestler).
-Bret spoke about his stroke and said it was a tough thing. He didn’t see anything positive and everything was dark. He found strength in his fan’s prayers, and he learned not to sweat the small stuff. He said he carried a lot of grief from Owen’s death and from Vince. The interviewer then asked Bret if these things had a part in his stroke, and Bret said he didn’t see how it couldn’t have taken a part in his stroke.
-He doesn’t know if he’ll return to wrestling, and said that he talked to the “WWF” as he said it, in May, and that they literally own his career, all his matches, pictures, etc. He has no access to this stuff, and if they wanted to erase Bret Hart, they could. He said the WWE wasn’t very business-like with him, and that they handled things dishonestly. Bret said that they had to own up to that before he came back.
That’s pretty much the entire interview which was not that long. In the beginning they showed footage of Ric Flair when he was on the show, bad mouthing Bret.”
