– To follow up on a few reports we had up on the site last week, Dusty Rhodes is said to be getting some mixed reactions from TNA workers regarding his new booking power. Some workers have said his ego has already gotten out of control and that is looked at as full of himself behind the scenes. It should be noted that at this week’s TV taping for Impact, he booked Traci in a skit where she was supposed to fall face-first into his crotch. It was later rebooked so that she only fell on his lap. The storyline is that Traci will be his new secretary at this point.
– Rhodes also raised some eyebrows at the tapings on Tuesday night as well when he brought in his son Dustin (aka Goldust) to work a match. According to reports from the show, Dustin was in such bad cardio shape that he was unable to cut a promo following his match with Johnny Swinger. Many TNA workers are said to be scared to show any signs of being upset because Dusty has made it very clear that part of his new job responsibilities is to clean house and cut back on the roster. It should be noted that since Jeff Jarrett was let go of his duties as the head booker, he has been very laid back behind the scenes and was described as just one of the boys again.
– On a side note, Rhodes is said to be very high on both Christopher Daniels and Sonny Siaki. So, we could easily see a push from both down the line.
