After the Raw filming ended, Eric Bischoff made his way down to the ring and told the crowd that the advertised match between Triple H and Randy Orton would take place.
Triple H scoffed at this, but Eric Bischoff informed him that if he refused to wrestle, he would lose his spot in the Elimination Chamber match at New Year’s Revolution.
Hunter finally made his way into the ring and wrestled a back and forth match with Orton for about 20 minutes. This action included a lot of Triple H mugging to the crowd and even throwing in a courtesy Flair-like face first bump to the mat. The match ended after Orton reversed a Pedigree attempt into the RKO and got the clean 1-2-3. Most of the crowd stayed for the match and really enjoyed it.
