– The general feeling among those in the TNA office was that the only needed to draw around 17,000 buys for the first monthly PPV in November (Victory Road) for it to be profitable. However, that number would have only covered the PPV expenses so other losses still need to be covered. A buyrate number of around 50,000 would no doubt assure profitability with the current budget.
– Although this doesn’t appear it will take place, Monty Brown’s name has been added to the mix as a possible opponent for Jeff Jarrett next month at the Final Resolution PPV on January 19th with the NWA World Title on the line. Jarrett’s original opponent was scheduled to be Randy Savage until TNA officials sent him home from the Impact! tapings two weeks ago when he requested he go over Jarrett for the title.
– TNAwrestling.com is plugging that Dusty Rhodes will be announcing Jeff Jarrett’s opponent at Final Resolution this Friday on Impact! on Fox Sports Net. If an announcement does indeed take place at the tapings on Tuesday night, we will have news regarding the matter as soon as possible.
– TNAwrestling.com has recently added a history of TNA in 2004. This is a great way for fans to get caught up on past happenings if they are just starting to view the product.
