Joey Styles sent out the following today to readers of his website, 1Wrestling.com: “As I am sure you have heard by now, I will indeed be calling play-by-play for ECW One Night Stand this Sunday live on pay-per-view. My work with WWE will in no way interfere with my ownership and management of 1wrestling.”
A WWE employee called up the fans who purchased $400 ringside seats to ECW’s One Night Stand yesterday and invited them to a autograph session at the Hammerstein Ballroom the afternoon of the PPV. This is only open to ringside fans.
As it stands right now, New Jack will not be at ECW One Night Stand. There is an ongoing legal dispute that he is involved in and has known about it for quite some time. At last check, he had been trying to get it squared away but it still doesn’t appear he’ll be on the PPV. It does, however, make for a big ‘debut’ of sorts during the next ECW show as it looks like they will be moving forward with the brand after this PPV.
