Shawn Michaels In-Ring Promo
Michaels kicks off the show by coming out to the ring to talk. We cut to a video package of the Elimination Chamber ppv where Michaels cost the Undertaker the title and the aftermath on Raw where Taker accepted HBK’s challenge for a rematch. Michaels talks about how some people say it was crazy that he put his career on the line against the Undertaker at Mania. He says that his WWE peers look away every time they see him in the back. None of them believe in him or think he can beat the Undertaker. He says that no one has given the Undertaker a run for his money the way that he has. He also knows as a fact that everyone knows he is "Mr. WrestleMania". He believes he can end the Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak. He calls anyone in the back that doesn’t believe he can do it to come out and tell him face to face that he can’t win. Triple H’s music hits first. He comes out.
Before Hunter can say anything, Shawn accuses him of not believing in him. Hunter then cuts him off and says he doesn’t think Shawn can beat the Undertaker…he knows he can. Hunter that says he’s wrestled everyone in this business and honestly, he can say that Shawn is the best he’s ever been in the ring with. Hunter says that in that lockerroom, Shawn has no peers. He is in a league by himself and on WrestleMania night, he truly is "Mr. WrestleMania". Hunter says that he knows with absolutely certainty that DX will never die, but it’s going to be a long time before anyone sees the two of them in the right at the same time again. He hates the idea of them losing to the Big Show and Miz being the fans’ last impression of them together, which is why he invoked their rematch clause for tonight. A loud "DX" chant breaks out.
Shawn says he appreciates it, but…Hunter cuts him off and says that it’s not about tag team gold. It’s about belief. His believe in Shawn. He believes that HBK will still be here the night after Mania, his career will be alive and well, and that the Undertaker’s streak will be ended. That night, the two of them should throw a party like only DX can and Shawn will then be known as the man who ended Taker’s streak. Hunter asks Shawn what he believes and he says that he believes they have some tag team titles tonight. The two of them celebrate and head out.
Cheech and Chong backstage w/ Bella Twins, Hornswoggle
We cut to the Raw guest hosts in the back and the Bella Twins come up saying they’re happy to have them there. The twins ask if they could come to one of their shows on the new tour and Cheech says that they could work it out. He walks off with the twins and Chong sits down on the couch before Hornswoggle comes in. He has a box of Lucky Charms and gives it to Chong. He eats some and the camera goes fuzzy like it’s making him high.
