Stephanie McMahon has finally addressed a long-running internet rumor.
Speaking with Brie Bella on What’s Your Story?, McMahon looked back at their heated confrontation at WWE Payback 2014, where Bella slapped her during an in-ring segment. McMahon revealed that many fans mistakenly believed she had peed herself after the slap due to the lighting and shadows on her dress.
“When we did the segment when you slapped me, do you know everyone thought I peed myself after?” McMahon said. “Apparently, I guess it was just the shadow and the way my dress [looked].”

McMahon laughed off the speculation, making it clear there was never any truth to the rumor.
“I would admit it if that happened, you know? I guess there was a shadow. It blew up that you made me pee myself because you hit me hard.” [H/T Fightful]
The Payback confrontation was one of the defining moments in McMahon’s rivalry with Brie Bella during the summer of 2014. Their feud began after Brie quit WWE in protest of Stephanie’s treatment of Daniel Bryan, only to later return and target the WWE executive in a series of physical confrontations.
The rivalry culminated at SummerSlam 2014, where McMahon stepped back into the ring for her first singles match in more than a decade. With interference from Nikki Bella, McMahon defeated Brie, bringing the storyline to a controversial conclusion.
