Kyle O’Reilly Returns With ’80s Sitcom Entrance at AEW Dynasty

Kyle O’Reilly is back in AEW.

After The Dogs won the AEW World Trios Championship from JetSpeed and Mistico on the April 11 episode of Collision, Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy interrupted them. They announced that they are coming after Clark Connors, David Finlay, and Gabe Kidd for attacking them at Dynamite, and that they would bring in a third member to challenge them for the title at Dynasty.

At AEW Dynasty, Roderick Strong walked out of a sitcom studio set up on the stage, and woke up Orange Cassidy, who was sleeping on a couch, saying, “he” is going to be here soon. British Columbia’s own Kyle O’Reilly made his way out, revealing himself as the mystery partner, saying, “Did somebody say Conglomeration?”

The sitcom stage didn’t survive long, as The Dogs destroyed it as they made their way out to the ring. They were unable to turn their aggression into an advantage during the match. After some decent back-and-forth action, Kyle O’Reilly hit a Dragon Screw on Clark Connors and locked him in an Ankle Lock. David Finlay tried to break it up, but Strong took him out, allowing O’Reilly to make Connors tap out to score the win.

Kyle O’Reilly hadn’t wrestled since AEW Full Gear 2025, where he picked up a win against Jon Moxley, as he got sidelined with an injury after the event. The injury came at the worst possible time as he was in the middle of a big push. However, he made a statement with his return by winning the AEW World Trios Championship for his team, ending The Dogs’ reign in just one day.

The Dogs’ Gabe Kidd was not able to finish the match, as he also went down with a reported injury.
