The Bella Twins have confirmed that their current WWE return will be their final run.
Nikki and Brie Bella are set to compete at WrestleMania 42, where they will take part in a Fatal 4-Way match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships. The match includes champions, The Irresistible Forces, along with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, plus Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
It is a big moment for the WWE Hall of Famers, and possibly their last shot at gold. Interestingly, the Bella Twins never won the Women’s Tag Team Titles before, as the titles were introduced after their original run.
A tag team title run has always been something missing from their careers. Now, they finally have a chance to change that.

Speaking to Angie Martinez, the Bella Twins were asked what it feels like as this phase comes to an end. Brie Bella described the moment as bittersweet.
“We knew we had one more run in us, and we really wanted our kids to see us too. But, you know, at 42, it feels different. And you’re getting in the ring with women in their 20s and their 30s, and some in their 40s as well. But, you know, it’s just her and I are like, ‘Wow, okay.’ Like travel and, you know, taking those bumps, it definitely feels different.
“But for her and I, we’ve always wanted to go for the tag titles because they weren’t around when we were actually competing. They came after we retired. And so, that’s always been on our bucket list. The fact that we actually get to do it now, it’s incredible.”
Nikki Bella also opened up, pointing out how they are running out of in-ring moments to share with each other.
“Well, and it hits like for me, I was actually telling Brie this, where it hits me hard. Before we did our walkout last night, our, you know, power walk stretch. I looked at her and I go, ‘Brie, we are only going to have so many more of these moments left.’ I go, ‘Is it not crazy how fast life has gone by?’”
“When I think of us starting at 23. It just seems like I never would have thought 20 years would have gone by this fast. It just it kind of hits me different to think that when this is done, it’s not just because, like, oh, it’s just a career. I’m like, no, it’s life, it’s age, it’s a new era, it’s just that time.”
Now, with one final run underway, all eyes are on WrestleMania 42. The Bella Twins have one last goal: to win titles.
