WWE Seemingly Teases The Rock’s Return During Subtle RAW Segment

WWE may have dropped a small hint about the return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on this week’s WWE RAW. And if historical evidence means anything, these kinds of subtle teases are usually not random. Especially as WrestleMania 42 gets closer, fans are once again wondering if “The Final Boss” is about to make a comeback.

On the March 23, 2026, episode of RAW, a chaotic non-title tag team match ensued. Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso faced Logan Paul and Austin Theory. Things got chaotic when LA Knight stepped in to stop Paul from using brass knuckles. But the knuckles ended up with Jey, who used them on Theory. This caused a disqualification, giving the win to Paul and Theory. Moreover, the outcome also earned them a future World Tag Team title shot.

WWE may have teased The Rock’s return during Bloodline segment on RAW

Later on, there was a backstage segment with The Usos and LA Knight. Jimmy thanked Knight for helping them, but Knight pointed out that they still lost because Jey used the weapon. Jey defended himself, saying The Vision had disrespected their family.

Things got heated when Knight said Jey is sounding like Roman Reigns. That didn’t go well with Jey. He said Knight would have problems if he kept “running his mouth.” Jimmy then tried to calm Jey down as the segment ended.

But what was really worth noticing wasn’t just the argument; it was where it happened. The whole argument took place in front of a production truck that had a massive image of The Rock on it. The camera made sure that his face stayed visible the entire time, which felt very intentional. WWE has a history of dropping visual hints like this.

This development becomes especially interesting because The Rock had strong ties to The Bloodline storyline. Everybody remembers WrestleMania 40.

As part of the Bloodline family, his involvement would directly connect to everything going on with Roman Reigns and The Usos. With Jey already showing signs of acting like Reigns, The Rock’s return could shake things up even more.

If this really was a hint, it opens up a lot of possibilities. WWE could be preparing for The Rock to return and confront Reigns to address the issues within The Bloodline. Or he could actually be the one behind the phone call of Randy Orton on SmackDown and behind his recent heel turn against Cody Rhodes.
