John Cena has shared an update on his future with WWE following his in-ring retirement.
Cena officially retired on December 13, 2025. He lost to Gunther at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Before retiring, he confirmed that he had signed a long-term deal to stay with WWE as an ambassador.
The 17-time WWE World Champion explained that his in-ring career is coming to an end. However, he still wants to help WWE grow. He also said this new role could allow him to guide younger talent more directly.
