Will Ospreay Brawls With Jon Moxley After In-Ring Return on AEW Dynamite

The March 18, 2026, episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off as Will Ospreay made his much hyped up in-ring return and eventually got into a fight with Jon Moxley.

Will Ospreay had been out for over six months with a serious neck injury from Forbidden Door 2025. He surprised fans by returning at Revolution, and just a few days later, he had his first match in 182 days against Blake Christian.

Even though his neck was still a target, Ospreay looked sharp. The match started slowly with some technical moves, but soon turned into a hard-hitting contest. Christian focused on Ospreay’s neck, hitting elbows, slamming it into the barricade, and using moves like a DDT and neckbreaker.

However, Ospreay fought back. He sent Christian outside and followed it up with a dive. Back in the ring, both men came close to winning, with Christian hitting big moves like a 450 splash and a standing shiranui.

In the end, Christian tried to finish it, but his opponent turned things around with a strong lariat and then hit his Hidden Blade to win the match.

But things didn’t stop there.

After the match, Ospreay grabbed a mic and said he was happy to be back. Then he called out Moxley, saying he doesn’t need weapons to snap someone’s neck, he can do it with his “bare f*cking hands.”

That brought Moxley out, along with Wheeler Yuta, and things got out of control quickly.

He rushed straight at Moxley, and they started fighting. They traded heavy shots, and the fight spread to Yuta, who got hit with a trash can. Ospreay even threw the can at Moxley as they moved into the ring.

Just when Ospreay seemed in control, PAC ran in and hit him with a strong kick. He then locked in his Brutalizer hold.

Security came out to break things up, but the brawl kept going. Members of the Bang Bang Gang showed up. Ospreay broke free and jumped off the stage onto PAC. After that, Ospreay and PAC continued their fight backstage.
