WATCH: Drew McIntyre Continues ‘I Quit’ Rant In Backstage Video After WWE SmackDown

The March 13 episode of WWE SmackDown started with Drew McIntyre “quitting” and walking out of the arena. The moment came a week after he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, and the drama continued.

The show opened with McIntyre storming to the ring, angry about how he lost the title. He climbed onto the announce table and demanded answers. The Scottish Warrior said he would stay there all night unless SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis fixed what he believed was a controversial decision.

Aldis came out to respond, but he showed no sympathy for McIntyre. He made it clear that the result of the championship match would not be changed.

Jacob Fatu then walked down to the ring and said that he was the one who cost McIntyre the championship and even dared him to do something about it.

For a moment, it looked like McIntyre might start a fight. But instead, he seemed fed up. After staring at both Fatu and Aldis, he said, “I quit,” to the general manager and left the arena through the crowd.

But the story did not end there. A cameraman followed McIntyre as he was leaving the arena through the crowd. He vented out his emotions while visibly being angry and frustrated. In the video, Drew McIntyre explained why he chose to walk away.

The Scotsman said that starting a fight would have only benefited WWE. He claimed the company just takes a lot from its performers while giving very little back.

“You give, you give, and you give. You bleed. If I fought Jacob right there, the only person that wins is them. They take, they take, they take. We give, we give, we give. I’m giving no more. I f*cking quit,” McIntyre said.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds in the upcoming weeks on the road to WrestleMania. It is obvious that the Scottish Warrior won’t leave the company just like that. He has done similar things during his past feud with CM Punk.
