WWE NXT Star’s New Ring Name Revealed

A WWE NXT star is gearing up for a name change.

On March 10, WWE filed to trademark “Myka Lockwood” through the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), suggesting that one of its in-ring talents would get a new ring name. After some digging, fans then discovered that an Instagram account under the username mylalockwoodwwe had been created with WWE LFG‘s Bayley Humphrey set as the profile photo.

According to BodySlam+, WWE sources have indicated that “Myka Lockwood” will be the new ring name for Humphrey moving forward.

Humphrey, a former member of the Baylor University acrobatics and tumbling team, first appeared in WWE as a part of WWE LFG season one. She then returned for WWE LFG season two, where she was again coached by The Undertaker.

In between her outings on WWE LFG, Humphrey has competed on a number of NXT live events, the latest of which saw her team with Sol Ruca and Zaria to taken on Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne, and Lainey Reid. Prior to that, Humphrey challenged Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at another live event.

Looking ahead, Humphrey will be featured on season three of WWE LFG, with Bubba Ray Dudley, Booker T, Kevin Owens and Natalya serving as the show’s coaches. Whether or not Humphrey’s reported name change will reflect in the upcoming season has yet to be seen. Nevertheless, Humphrey herself approves of it, writing “That’s a killer of a name if I say so myself” on X.
