The Judgment Day betrayed Finn Balor on WWE RAW.
Tension had been building within The Judgment Day for more than a year, especially between Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio. Last week’s events appeared to push the faction to a breaking point after Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Championship to Penta when Balor refused to help him cheat during the match.
On this week’s episode of WWE Raw, Mysterio confronted Balor about the loss. Balor said he was trying to teach him a lesson and told him he needed to fight his own battles. The argument quickly turned heated when Bálor suggested that Dominik’s father, Rey Mysterio, may have been right about him.
This led to Mysterio pushing Balor, which started a fight in the ring. Other Judgment Day members joined in and attacked Balor. Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, JD McDonagh, and Mysterio all took part in the brutal attack.
Mysterio then loaded a hammer in his boots and delivered a 619 before hitting two Frog Splashes, with the second one landing on a steel chair. After the shocking segment, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh reacted on social media. Mysterio posted photos of the attack on Instagram and wrote, “@finnbalor I shot ya…?”
Meanwhile, McDonagh shared his thoughts on X, formerly known as Twitter, placing the blame on Balor. He wrote, “You lied to all of us for months. You got an ego. You wanted to be the leader. You played games. That’s never been what the Judgment Day has been about. You used to know that. Judgment Day is my family and if anybody dares to try to step on any of them, you get stomped out.”
The faction didn’t stop there, as they were also seen mocking former Judgment Day member Damian Priest, who later reacted to their actions.
