Trish Stratus looks back on when she truly “made it” as a WWE Superstar.
The WWE Hall of Famer spoke with WrestleZone about her inclusion in the WWE 2K26 video game. Trish Stratus made her WWE video game debut in November 2000’s WWF No Mercy on Nintendo 64. Stratus was also in WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role, which was released a few days later.
Since then, Trish has appeared in several games in the WWE 2K lineup, and she was one of the cover stars of 2004’s WWF Day of Reckoning for Nintendo GameCube. Trish reflected on her history in video games, sharing that the first one was a bucket list item of sorts, and it means just as much being included in WWE 2K26 now.
“It’s kind of like the ‘you made it moment,’ right? So, as a kid growing up watching wrestling, then playing wrestling games, to actually then playing as myself. I played with myself. Yeah, I said it,” she added, poking fun at her phrasing.
“It was very cool, and it is like a ‘you made it moment.’ Then, at one point, I think it was Day of Reckoning, I was on the cover of that one. So to be on the cover of that and then now [seeing] the Attitude Era getting its little shout-out on the cover [of the Attitude Era edition of the game] as well. It was a pretty cool full-circle moment.”
When will WWE 2K26 be released?
The standard edition of WWE 2K26 will be released on Friday, March 13, 2026. The King of Kings, Attitude Era, and Monday Night War editions were released on Friday, March 6, for Early Access players. You can pre-order all versions of the game right now.
Trish Stratus scored an 89 overall rating in WWE 2K26. This year’s ratings reveal took place during a special presentation on the UpUpDownDown YouTube Channel with Joe Tessitore, Big E and Kevin Owens. The trio revealed ratings for several current Superstars and WWE legends, including one who earned a rare perfect 100 rating in this year’s game.
