Just days after capturing championship gold at Elimination Chamber, the newly crowned Women’s Intercontinental Champion stepped into the ring with something to say — and someone in mind.
Earlier in the night, GUNTHER defeated Dragon Lee via submission with the Gojira Clutch. Backstage chaos followed, including another tense exchange between Asuka and Kairi Sane.
But once AJ’s music hit, the focus shifted entirely.

AJ addressed the crowd and reflected on her victory over Becky Lynch at Elimination Chamber, where she won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship with the Black Widow.
She admitted she had doubts about whether she could still compete at that level. Fans responded with “You deserve it!” chants, a reminder that her decade-long absence never erased her connection.
Lee thanked those who remembered her when others wanted her forgotten, noting that some once tried to erase her legacy. She said beating Becky — “the best of the best” — proved she’s still championship material.
However, she made it clear she’s not waiting for WrestleMania 42 to defend her title. Calling herself a fighting champion, AJ issued an open challenge to anyone in the women’s locker room. “If you think that you are championship material… then come at me,” she declared, promising that the next time she steps into the ring, the title will be on the line.
The win marked her first singles championship in over 12 years following her late-2025 return. While no one answered the challenge immediately, the Road to WrestleMania just gained another lane.
With Becky Lynch already demanding a rematch, the question isn’t whether AJ will defend her title before WrestleMania — it’s who will step up first.
