Brock Lesnar didn’t wait for an invitation on the February 23, 2026, episode of Monday Night RAW in Atlanta — he issued one.
With WrestleMania 42 looming and Elimination Chamber still ahead, Lesnar made it clear that his road to Las Vegas won’t be quiet.
Flanked by Paul Heyman, “The Beast” entered to a thunderous reaction at the State Farm Arena, immediately shifting the focus away from the night’s scheduled AJ Styles tribute.
Heyman handled the introductions and wasted no time raising the stakes. He claimed that when Lesnar ended The Undertaker’s Streak, he effectively secured a permanent WrestleMania main event aura. According to Heyman, “the only dead man walking now is whoever fights Brock each year.”
Brock Lesnar Issues Open Challenge for WrestleMania 42
Paul Heyman then laid out Lesnar’s upcoming dates on the Road to WrestleMania and delivered a blunt message. Any man willing to endure what he described as “the worst victimization in history” simply had to walk down the aisle and step into Lesnar’s face.
He predicted no one would answer. “There’s no one in that locker room with the balls to take that a*skicking,” Heyman said.
And for now, he was right.
No Superstar emerged to accept the open challenge, leaving the question hanging in the Atlanta air. Lesnar stood tall as the segment ended, his WrestleMania opponent still unknown.
The challenge comes after Lesnar’s Royal Rumble appearance, where he eliminated Oba Femi before being tossed out by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight. Reports have pointed to possible programs with LA Knight or even a renewed clash with Femi, while a showdown with Gunther remains a long-requested bout.
Brock Lesnar could finally be the one who can stop the “Career Killer” tag that Gunther has amassed at WrestleMania 42.
For now, though, the ball is in the locker room’s court. If anyone wants to step into Suplex City at WrestleMania 42, they’ll have to answer the call. Until then, Lesnar’s open challenge stands — and silence might be the loudest response of all.
