Seth Rollins says he was dealing with a serious neck issue last year.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins has been absent from WWE television since he got kicked out of the Vision in October 2025 after he sustained a shoulder injury. With a few months removed since he underwent surgery, Rollins provided an update on his condition during a recent interview with Complex News.
“It’s coming along. It’s coming along,” Seth Rollins began. “I had surgery about almost three months now. So, I can do most normal things, like wash my hair and scratch my armpit and all those things. So, it’s good. I still got time. I don’t know exactly when we’re gonna come back but, I’m making progress in the right direction.”
Speaking further, Seth Rollins revealed that he also dealt with some serious neck issues in 2025. He also opened up about the lower back issues he endured during his first World Heavyweight Championship run in 2023.
“Last year, my neck was destroying me. That was really bad. I had the low back stuff… when I was World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. That was a really rough stretch, where I would land wrong like one time and I felt like I couldn’t do anything for weeks. That was a struggle,” Seth Rollins said. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
Seth Rollins admits he was super uncomfortable taking part in WWE Unreal
During a recent appearance on ESPN New York, Seth Rollins shared his thoughts about being part of the Netflix docuseries WWE: Unreal. He explained why he was “super uncomfortable,” and didn’t want anything to do with the first season.
I’m super uncomfortable with it, to the point where I resisted and didn’t want anything to do with the first season,” Seth Rollins began. “‘Keep me out of it. Don’t put me in it.’ I didn’t want anything to do with the second season, but they asked and asked and asked. I said, ‘There are some things that I want to protect and that I will protect. If you cross those lines, we’re going to have a problem, but there are things I’m okay with sharing. If you want to talk about my family and my story, the real person behind Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, we can get into all of that stuff.’
“It’s more because you don’t know who is mic’d all the time. Wrestlepalooza, we have this mixed tag team match, and there are cameras all over the place. There are some things I don’t want filmed or want you to see. I just raise an eyebrow at the crew and they know when to put it away, press the button, turn the microphone off, and have my moment,” Seth Rollins said. [H/T: Fightful]
