How badly is Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer injured following her announcement last night on WWE RAW?
WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer walked to the ring last night in a walking boot to announce an ankle injury. Despite this setback, she announced she wouldn’t be relinquishing the title, and she would be back soon.
After the promo, she was attacked by Raquel Rodriguez both in the ring and backstage. This led many fans to speculate that these attacks could lead to Vaquer being stripped of her title and written off WWE programming for the time being. Luckily, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Vaquer is a little banged up, but she’s not expected to miss much time, if any at all. With one source calling her injury not anything out of the ordinary.
It appears last night’s angle between Vaquer and Rodriguez was done to set up a singles match between the two. Perhaps as soon as the Royal Rumble later this month.
