Next week’s episode of AEW Collision is set to be a big one and will feature a TNT Championship match.
During Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision, Hechicero took on Komander in a match that would determine a new #1 Contender for the TNT Championship. With El Clon at his side, Hechicero was able to come out on top with the victory. The closing moments of the match saw El Clon interfere as Komander went up on the top rope.
Clon shoved him off, and Hechicero used the chance to hit two big knee strikes on the star. Shortly after, he rolled him up for the win. With the win, Hechicero earned a title shot against Mark Briscoe. That match will take place next week on AEW Collision, with Briscoe looking to defend his TNT Championship.
The fully announced card for the January 10 episode of AEW Collision is as follows:
- TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Hechicero
