Unfortunate Update On Sheamus’ WWE Status

We have an unfortunate update on Sheamus‘ WWE status after being forced to exit the Last Time Is Now Tournament.

Sheamus hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since he teamed with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to defeat The Judgment Day on the November 17 episode of RAW from Madison Square Garden.

It was revealed later that The Celtic Warrior was being pulled from the tournament due to a shoulder injury. He was replaced by The Miz, who squandered his opportunity, losing to LA Knight.

At that point, no one knew how serious this injury was or how long he’d be out. But we do now.

Sheamus’ wife, Isabella Revilla-Farrelly, took to her Instagram this evening to announce that her husband has undergone shoulder surgery in Birmingham, posting:

“When I told my husband I wanted to go on one last trip before the end of the year, this is NOT what I meant ?

“From the Eiffel Tower in Paris to the Trevi Fountain in Rome to La Sagrada Família in Barcelona to… the Birmingham Surgery Center in Alabama — I’m honestly just happy to travel with him ?

#travelgoals #travelcouple #rolltide #marriedlife #travelvlog,” Isabella Revilla-Farrelly said in a post.

A full recovery from a shoulder surgery can take anywhere from six to twelve months to regain full strength.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Sheamus a quick and painless recovery.
