WWE Legend Reacts To Timothée Chalamet Namedropping Him In Interview

A WWE legend has reacted to Timothée Chalamet’s comments about him in a recent interview.

Marty Supreme star Timothée Chalamet recently appeared on Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, where he claimed that WWE failed to recognize The Boogeyman’s potential.

“To me, as a big sports fan, big Knicks fan, also a huge fan of acting, and Hollywood, this (WWE) was the intersection, growing up. That is for charismatic on-the-mic guys like The Rock and Stone Cold, but also like Marty Wright, The Boogeyman,” Chalamet explained. “Like freaky, out of left field sh*t. He was a Tough Enough contestant. He is sort of one of the most underrated. I feel like they didn’t realize how big he was at the time.”

Now, The Boogeyman has reacted to Chalamet’s comments on his X/Twitter account using his iconic catchphrase, saying he’s still coming to get him.

“Still CMIN2GETCHA.”

The Boogeyman doesn’t compete for WWE anymore, but he is currently under a Legends contract with the promotion.

Timothée Chalamet Introduced Himself To WWE Legend Dave Bautista In A Hilarious Way

Speaking in the same podcast, Timothée Chalamet shared a funny story about how he first met WWE legend and actor Dave Bautista.

“He couldn’t believe it. I knocked on his trailer door and I had ‘The Animal’ theme song playing. I hadn’t met him and I was [doing the machine gun taunt]. The look on his face was priceless. He had no clue.

“I love working with Dave. He’s a very serious guy. A very serious actor. The last time I saw Dave, I couldn’t locate my mom at the Oscars. I feel bad because I hope he doesn’t think I was Hollywooding him because he was saying hi, and I literally couldn’t locate where my mother was.

“I love Dave. Batista and Rey Mysterio, that was the WWE I grew up on. Dave has one of the best entrances of all time.” [H/T: Fightful]

Timothée Chalamet can be seen in Marty Supreme in theatres on Christmas Day.
