As much as WWE is hyping the January 5 episode of Monday Night RAW, they have added some huge matches to next week’s episode.
During tonight’s episode of WWE RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce spoke with Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer backstage. Pearce questioned how they could solve her current issues with both Nikki Bella and Raquel Rodriguez.
Vaquer made it clear that there are no issues for her and requested a triple threat match for her Women’s World Championship. Pearce liked Vaquer’s thought process and made the match official for next week’s episode of RAW.
This would lead to a fired-up promo from Nikki Bella at ringside as she decided to hijack the show and cut an egotistical promo from on top of the commentator’s table.
It was also announced that, due to The Usos‘ victory over The New Day last week, they will get a title shot at World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee next week on RAW. Cathy Kelley would interview Styles and Lee backstage about the matchup.
Styles ran down all the teams they’ve already beaten, who have claimed they are the best. Lee said no matter what happens next week, it will be a classic. Lee said they will do what they always do next week and bring the fire. Styles proclaims that as long as they have the title, they are better than the best.
